This is the antique 1917 edition of Ruby's Vacation in the Ruby and Ruthie Series by Minnie E. Paull. It has grey linen covers with red lettering and a red and black illustrated portrait of Ruby on the cover. The spine is also lettered in red with an illustration of a small bow. There is one black and white illustration plate of Ruby at the title page. There are 248 pages with several additional pages of illustrations.
The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. The covers have some wear with some slight discoloration and fraying to corners and edges. The front cover has cracked at the inside spine, exposing the webbing underneath. There is a Hirsch Bros. Book Dept. stamp inside the back cover. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 7.75 inches by 5.25 inches. It is 1.5 inches thick.
