This is an Oscar and Edgar Gutherz fine porcelain sugar bowl and creamer pitcher set. The set includes a sugar bowl with lid and a creamer pitcher. Both have gold painted handles with gold rims. The rims have a Greek key pattern all the way around. The bottoms are marked O. & E.G. Royal Austria. Oscar and Edgar Gutherz produced fine porcelain wares in Bohemia using the Austria stamp until 1918, making these antiques. The Royal stamp was added to items of high or fine quality.
The set is in great antique condition for their age and use. The gold paint is starting to fade, mostly on the handles and very edges of the rims. There are no chips or cracks. The white glaze is still bright and shiny with minimal to no yellowing.
The sugar bowl measures 5.25 inches from handle to handle. It is 3.5 inches in diameter at the base and 4.5 inches tall. The creamer is 5 inches from handle to rim. It is 3.25 inches in diameter at the base and 3 inches tall.
