This is the 1966 revised and updated edition of The Rockwells' Complete Book of Roses by F.F. Rockwell and Esther C. Grayson, published by Doubleday & Company. The book has the original full color dust jacket in pink, blue, and black with a photo of red roses . The book cover underneath is gray with blue decorating and silver lettering and details. Both the inside front and back covers are illustrated with types of roses. There are three parts with 24 chapters, as well as numerous half-tone, line, and color illustrations. There are 332 pages.
The book is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The dust jacket is bright with wear to corners and edges. There are small tears to the jacket mostly around the spine. The cover underneath is in excellent condition with minimal wear. The spines are still attached and the pages have yellowed, but the illustrations and photographs are still bright. There is an envelope of Scouting membership cards tucked into the inside back cover.
The book measures 8.5 inches by 5.75 inches. It is 1.5 inches thick.
