This is the antique 1924 Atlas of the World and Gazetteer, published by Funk & Wagnalls Company. It has olive green covers with gold borders and gold lettering. The spine is also lettered in gold. This edition contains full color maps of the principal countries of the world as well as maps of each American state and territory and the Canadian provinces. The maps are accompanied by pages of statistical information. There are 191 pages.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear with some fading and discoloration to both the covers and the gold lettering. Someone wrote #11 in pencil inside the front cover. The inside front cover has some missing paper on the left hand side. The pages are yellowed but the maps are still bright. The book does have the old book smell.
The atlas measures 9.5 by 6.5 inches. It is .75 inches thick.
