This is the vintage 1953 edition of Greek History, Antiquities, and Literature by A. Petrie, published by Oxford University Press. It has grey covers with black lettering and floral motifs. The book is illustrated with black and white photographs and drawings. The inside back cover has a black line map of Greece. There are 159 pages.
The book is in fair vintage condition for its age and use. The covers have water damage along the bottom edge with discoloration. The last two pages of the book and inside back cover have evidence of dried mold and the book does have the typical old book smell. The pages are yellowed. It would make for a great book to use for paper ephemera or junk journal supplies.
The book measures 7.25 by 5 inches. It is half an inch thick.
