This is the 1935 Universal Library paperback edition of With Napoleon in Russia, The Extraordinary Memoirs of General de Caulaincourt Aide and Confidant to the Emperor. It features a red wash portrait of Napoleon on the cover with lettering in white and yellow. The spine continues the illustration only on gray. The inside front and back covers are a repeating gray and white pattern of the Universal Library logo. There are 422 pages.
The book is in fair vintage condition for its age and use. The spine is cracked down the middle but the glue is holding and the book has not yet separated into two halves. The cover is still bright with minimal fading, but does have general wear with some wrinkle, crinkling, and peeling of the paper. The pages have yellowed.
The book measures 8 inches by 5.25 inches. It is 1 inch thick.
