This is a large vintage octagon shaped tin from Guildcraft. The tin has brown sides made to look like faux wood grain. The lids have the same wood grain on the outside rim with a brass border. Inside the brass border the tin is black. In the very center, there is a raised circular inset with Greek style ladies on both sides. On one side the ladies are sitting and standing next to a vase of flowers. On the other one is playing the flute while one dances. The inside is gold colored metal.
The tin is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The central circles have the most wear with fading, tarnishing, and discoloration. The brass borders are also tarnished. The tin has two dents to the outer edge. The inside has tarnishing. The flute lady is the lid side, and it does come off with some muscle.
The tin measures 12.25 by 12.25 inches. It is 4 inches deep.
