This is a set of two undated volumes of the writings of John Ruskin, published by Colonial Press Company Publishers. Included in the set are The Laws of Fesole, A Joy Forever, Our Fathers Have Told Us, and Inaugural Address in one edition and The Two Paths, Love's Meinie, Michael Angelo and Tintoret, Val D'arno, and The Pleasures of England in the other. Both have green linen covers with beige spine labels with the titles in black and the authors name and rose detail in gold. Both editions have illustration plates. One volume has 432 pages and one has 435. Both have rough cut page edges.
The books are in great vintage condition for their age and use. The covers have general wear, mostly to the labels which have yellowed. The gold lettering has faded. The covers are attached at the spines. The pages have yellowed slightly.
The books measure 7.75 by 5.25 inches. They are 1.25 inches thick.
