This is a lovely landscape watercolor featuring a pond in the woods. The painting is on what looks like composite board. The background has a line of trees and the foreground has the pond, and several large birch trees. The painting is done with a dreamy look in shades of brown, blue, gray, and black. The painting is unframed but it is signed S. Katz in the lower right corner.
The painting is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The board has yellowed, not sure if this is original to the board or because of age. The paint is intact. The edges of the board are beginning to chip in several areas, especially along the back left side.
The painting measures 9 inches long by 4 inches tall.
