This is a vintage tan and black grosgrain ribbon clip on bow tie in its original box. The bow tie is a clip on style with the bow in tan and the long ribbon ends in black. It has a minimalist style with a narrow tie and long ribbons. The clips are silver and marked rust resistant. The bow tie is its original box with a plastic protective covering. There is no makers mark on the box or tie.
The bow tie is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The box and plastic covering are yellowed, but the tie has no stains or fading. There is one small tear on the back side of the tie where the interior clip has poked through the tie. It's not visible with the tie is flat.
The bow tie measures 4.5 inches long by 1 inch tall. The ribbons hanging down are 6 inches long.
