This a vintage Reeves & Sons black tin travel paint palette case. It has a plain black exterior with a rounded, raised area on the top lid. The front has a clasp latch to keep the case closed while traveling. Inside the tin, there are openings for 20 very small square paint pots. Fifteen of the squares are filled with white plastic tubs, some still with paint. The center is divided into 3 wells: one narrow rounded well, one large rectangle, and one large square. The rectangle is filled with a shallow white plastic tray with 5 shallow trays to mix paints. The bottom part of the inside is one long rectangle. There is the remnants of the Reeves & Sons label inside this bottom well.
The case is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The outside has paint marks and lots of scratches. The latch works well and is easy to open and close. The lid opens and shuts easily. The inside is very colorful and has been well-used. Please see photos!
The case measures 9.5 by 5.5 inches. It is 1.25 inches tall.
