This is the 1922 edition of The Sweet & Touching Tale of Fleur & Blanchefleur: A Medieval Legend translated from the French by Mrs. Leighton, with thirty-seven coloured illustrations by Eleanor Fortescue Brickdale. It was published in London by Daniel O'Connor at 90 Great Russell Street. The covers are grey with blue lettering and a blue illustration of Fleur and Blanchefleur. The spine is also titled in blue. The book is also illustrated throughout with lovely Arts and Crafts Movement style illustrations. There are 61 pages.
The book is in great antique condition for its age and use. The covers have general though minimal wear with some slight fraying to the corners. The spine is cracked but still attached at the first title page. The pages are yellowed but the illustrations are still bright.
The book measures 10 by 7.5 inches. It is .75 inches thick.
