This is a vintage bisque girl figurine in the Frozen Charlotte or penny doll style. The little girl is wearing blue shoes with light green frilly shorts and a white shirt with a blue pointed collar. The little girl has rosy cheeks and blond hair with a round red hat and a yellow side flower. She is carrying a small black book. The figurine is made from bisque ceramic and is marked Made in Japan A134 on the back. Small dolls like these were often used as prizes in Cracker Jack boxes or for a penny in candy shops, hence the name penny doll.
The figurine is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The figurine has general wear all over with some small discoloration spots and areas of fading paint. There are no chips or cracks.
The penny doll measures 3.5 inches tall. It is about 1.25 inches wide from one elbow across to the other elbow.
