This is the 1933 edition of The Beautiful Story of Joan of Arc: The Martyr Maid of France, told by Viola Ruth Lowe with pictures by O.D.V. Guillonnet and published by Grosset & Dunlap. It has a beautiful full color illustration on the cover with a background of red and a spine of navy. The back cover also has a small portrait of Saint Joan. The inside front and back endpapers are a repeating pattern of a heraldic shield alternating with J for Joan. The book is fully illustrated with full color illustrations. There are 60 pages.
The book is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear with some fraying to edge and corners. The covers are attached at the spine. The pages are yellowed but the illustrations are still bright.
This is an oversized book, measuring 12.75 by 9.75 inches. It is half an inch thick.
