This is a vintage metal doll's trunk carrying case in white and gold. The case is white metal with gold stars all over and a white plastic carrying handle. The fixtures and clasp lock are brass. The inside of the trunk is hot pink paper with gold atomic starbusts and small gold stars. One side has a brass metal hanger with a shelf, and the other side has navy blue ribbon. There is no maker's mark.
The trunk is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The outside has general wear with some small scratches and discoloration to areas. The handle moves up and down easily and the clasp lock opens and closes easily. The brass is tarnished in all parts. The inside pink has faded. The drawer is missing. The brass metal has discolored the right interior side of the trunk and is beginning to discolor the paper in other areas as well. The ribbon is still attached but frayed.
The case measures 6.75 inches wide by 7 inches deep. It is 12.5 inches tall.
