This is the rare 1911 6th printing of the first edition of Martin Eden by Jack London, published by Grosset & Dunlap. It has light blue covers with darker blue Art Nouveau style floral designs on the cover and spine. The cover and spine are both lettered in a dark red. It has one illustration plate at the title page by The Kinneys. There are 411 pages.
The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. The covers have staining and discoloration with some slight fraying to spine and cover edges. The covers are still attached at the spine. The first blank page of the book has been torn out, but the title page and all other pages remain. The pages are browning.
The book measures 7.75 by 5.25 inches. It is 1.5 inches thick.
