This is a set of blue stripe ceramic dishes, which includes a Carrigaline Pottery pitcher and two Restyled by Judith Onions Cornish Kitchenware plates. The pitcher is a creamer size in bright white with a wide mouth and slightly footed bottom. The pitcher is decorated with inset stripes that have been painted blue. The pitcher has a squared off handle. The bottom is embossed Carrigaline and Republic of Ireland. The plates are two different sizes. One is a saucer and one is a dessert plate. Both are striped blue and stamped on the bottom with T.G. Green Ltd. Church Gresley Original Cornish Kitchenware Made in England Restyled by Judith Onions.
The pitcher is in good vintage condition for its age and use. It has general wear to the glazing inside and out. The glaze is crackled all over with some staining to the inside of the pitcher. There is one very small chip on the top rim but no cracks. The dessert plate is in great condition with no chips or cracks and minor discoloration to the bottom. The saucer is in good condition with some crackling to the glaze, especially on the bottom, and a very small hairline crack to the edge.
The pitcher measures 4.5 inches wide from handle to spout. It is 3.5 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter at the base. The saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter and the dessert plate is 7 inches in diameter.
