This is a lovely piece of dried flower art in a rectangle frame. The flowers are dried in shades of pink, purple, and brown on heavy cream-colored paper. The piece is initialed in pencil in the lower right corner. The frame is inset with a light blue border with a gold outer border. The frame has a triangle metal loop at the top. The back is covered with light cardboard that is stamped Made in Germany (East)
The piece is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The flowers are glued and pressed well with no missing or loose pieces. The glass is clear with no chips or cracks. There are two chips to the paint on the left side of the frame. The frame is still nailed together at the corners but the corners are not flush. I'm not sure if this is original or wear. The cardboard on the back is surrounded by tape.
The frame measures 8.25 inches long by 4 inches wide. It is half an inch thick.
