This is an antique Victorian style scrapbook. It has blue covers with Scrap Book written on it in ornate gold lettering. There is a light blue peony looking flower to the left of the S. The spine has horizontal gold stripes and the back is embossed with flowers at all four corners with a large floral motif in the center. The back is also embossed Pat. March 1876. There are heavy weight pages inside the book. The pages are all blank.
The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. The gold lettering is mostly matte, but still intact and the flower is intact too. The front cover is pushed back exposing about an inch of the pages on the right front side. The cover has started to separate on the outside at the bottom front cover. The front cover has cracked at the inside spine but is still attached. The pages are browned and fragile with some discoloration and rips and and tears.
The scrapbook measures 13.75 by 11 inches. It is 1.25 inches thick.
