This is a portrait print of Pauline Bonaparte in a glass and velvet frame. The portrait print shows Pauline Bonaparte, Napoleon's sister, looking off to the left in her blue and burgundy gown. The portrait is inset in a thin gold metal frame with slight bubble glass covering. The portrait is surrounded by a border of light burgundy-brown velvet. The frame itself is glass formed to look like large vines with a top flourish. The back has a small hole for hanging the portrait.
The portrait and frame are in good vintage condition for their age and use. The frame glass has some slight discoloration around the edge of the inner oval. There are no chips or cracks to the glass. The velvet is in good condition with some slight fading. The portrait glass is clear. The portrait under the glass has some areas of discoloration with a slight wave to the print.
The frame measures 6.75 inches by 5.25 inches. It is about half an inch thick.
