This is a Watt stoneware crock bowl in a lovely yellow ware color. The bowl is marked Ovenproof Made in USA 5, making it a 5" diameter bowl. It has a banded design on the body with thin white stripes. The bottom has a scalloped foot pattern. The top rim has a vertical lines and arc pattern.
The crock bowl is in great vintage condition for its age and use. There are no chips or cracks. There is one glazing defect toward the bottom that has left a glazing hole on the outside. The crock has general wear with some crackling and staining to the glaze, especially on the inside of the bowl.
The bowl measures 5.5 inches in diameter at the top and 2 inches in diameter at the bottom. It is 3 inches tall.
