This is a 1960s beaded raffia purse that was made in Italy. It has cream-colored raffia with small beads throughout the weaving. The handle is cream-colored solid plastic. It has a brass clasp and a top handle. The inside is lined with beige grosgrain fabric. There is a white and blue Made in Italy tag.
The purse is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The raffia and beading is intact with no missing beads or raffia. The handle has one small hairline crack at the bottom toward the left side of the handle. It doesn't go all the way through as it can't be see on the top of that portion of the handle. The handle has minimal scuffing and small scratches around the hand opening. The brass clasp is tarnished, but opens and closes easily.
The purse measures 8 inches long by 8.5 inches tall. It is 2.5 inches wide at its widest point.
