This is a set of three etching prints by H.W. Smith featuring romantic portraits of young women. The prints are actually antique book plates that have been cut from a book. There are three sepia toned etchings in the set. The first is titled The Maid of the Mill, the second is titled Spring Joys, and the third is titled Mountain Daisy. All three are printed with H.W. Smith's name and the title. All three are enclosed in plastic wrapping on very thin white cardboard.
The prints are in antique condition for their age and use. They have been removed evenly from the book with no rips or tears. All have extensive foxing, giving them a lovely antique patina.
The prints measure 4.75 by 7.25 inches.
