This is a brown wood swing frame with a black and white portrait photograph. The frame is solid wood with carved geometric details. The frame sits on a scalloped base between two arms giving it the swing frame style. Under the frame glass, there is a black and white portrait photograph of a woman wearing a dress and a pearl necklace. The portrait has been hand colored to give the woman rosy cheeks and lips. The frame is backed with cardboard held in by small frame nails.
The frame and photograph are in good vintage condition for their age and use. The frame has general wear with some chipping of the gold stain. The glass is mostly clear with some clouding along the bottom. The frame swings easily.
The frame measures 10.75 inches long by 2.5 inches deep. It sits 10 inches tall. The picture opening is 6.75 inches by 8.75 inches.
