This is a set of 4 antique Victorian Girls books, published by Hurst & Co. The set includes A Sunny Little Lass (1906) by Evelyn Raymond, A Little Florida Lady (1903) by Dorothy C. Paine, Mistress May (1901) by Amy E. Blanchard, Little Sister Anne (1904) also by Amy E. Blanchard. All four books have gold-beige covers with dark blue lettering and a full color illustration on the cover. Each book has a black and white illustration plate at the title page. All four have advertisement pages at the end. They vary in the amount of pages, but each has at least 230 pages.
The books are in good antique condition for their age and use. Their cover illustrations are still bright with some general wear like scratches, discoloration, or missing corners. The covers have general wear with fading, discoloration, and fraying to corners and edges. The covers are attached at the spine. The books have penciled shorthand notation inside the front covers. The pages are very yellowed.
The books measure 7.5 inches by 5.25 inches. Each one is about 1 inch thick.
