This is the antique 1891 edition of Maxwell's English Series Advanced Lessons in English Grammar by Wm. H. Maxwell. It has light green covers with black lettering and floral decorations on the front cover. The spine is also decorated in black with gold lettering. There are 334 pages.
The book is in good antique condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear with fading and fraying to corners and edges. The back cover has several larger stains. The front cover is still attached at the inside back but it is cracked showing the webbing underneath. The pages are yellowed. Page 2 has purple crayon lines radiating out in the top left corner.
The book measures 7.5 by 5.25 inches. It is 1 inch thick.
