This is a set of two butterfly shaped ceramic trinket dishes. Both butterflies have the same shape allowing them to nest together. One dish is solid white with two holes and thread on the back to be able to hang it on the wall. The other is a marbled orange. It has no holes to hang it. Neither dish has a maker's mark.
The dishes are in good vintage condition for their age and use. Their glaze is bright and shiny. The white dish has a small chip to the upper right wing. The orange dish also has a small chip to the very tip of the upper right wing.
The white dish measures 6 inches long by 4.75 inches wide at its widest point. It is .75 inches deep. The orange dish measures 5.5 inches long by 4.5 inches wide. It is also .75 inches deep.
