This is the 1952 Hobby Fun Book for Grade School Boys and Girls by Margaret O. Hyde and Frances W. Keene, published by The Rumford Press as part of the Seahorse Fun Book series. It has red, white, and blue paperback covers with cute illustrations of boats, flowers, planes, and turtles. The spine is lettered in white. The book is fully illustrated with black and white drawings. The book is a collection of creative or to-do hobbies with themes like care of pets, indoor gardens, chemistry, painting, etc. There are 128 pages.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The spine has the most wear with crumbling away of the paper. The rest of the cover has general wear with some discoloration and staining. Shelbina wrote her name in pencil on the front cover. The covers are attached at the spine. The pages are yellowed, and page 125 has a tear at the top.
The book measures 11.25 by 8.25 inches. It is half an inch thick.
