This is a red and gold tiered leather jewelry box with front clasp. It is a deep tomato red with a gold dot border and a gold curlicue motif on the lid. The top of the three sides also has the same gold dot border. The front of the box has a locking brass push clasp. The inside of the box has red satin with a gold four leaf clover under the lid. The box has two tiers. The bottom is lined with red satin and the top is divided into three compartments and lined in red velvet.
The box is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The corners have wear with fraying and chipping to the leather. The top has a stain in the top left corner and a smaller stain to the right corner. The bottom of the box also has a stain in one corner. The clasp opens easily but there is no key. The brass is tarnished. The velvet has some dust bunnies but otherwise the inside just has general wear.
The box measures 7.5 inches long by 5.5 inches wide. It is 2.75 inches tall.
