This is a blue and white checked ceramic salt cellar. The salt cellar is white ceramic with Salt stenciled in black on the front. The top and bottom of the opening has a blue and white checked border. The cellar has a large rectangular storage space with a high back. There is a large circle opening in order to hang the cellar on the wall. The bottom is marked Germany in blue.
The salt cellar is in good vintage condition for its age and use. It has general wear with some staining and discoloration. There are no chips or cracks. There are two extra holes right above the opening for a wooden lid that is missing.
The salt cellar measures 5.25 inches long by 4 inches wide. It is 6 inches tall.
