This is the 1981 Ninth Edition, First Printing of the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book. It has red and white gingham covers with blue and white lettering. This is the binder cookbook with a five ring binder and red tabs for each section. The cookbook has full color photographs. The inside covers are printed with cooking information, substitutions, emergency measurements, etc. There are 465 pages.
The cookbook is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear with staining to the bottom front edge and the top back corner. The binder rings intact open and close easily and match up completely when closed. The pages are yellowed with staining and some water / broth staining.
The cookbook measures 8.5 by 10 inches. It is 2 inches thick.
