This is a vintage etched and painted Bakelite tile from Nesa Treibitz. The tile is cream-colored Bakelite with a village street and houses or shops. The houses and shops are painted yellow, blue, and brown. The tree in the background is green. Treibitz's signature is in the lower right corner. The tile is framed in a simple wood black frame with a inner gold border. There is no hanging hardware.
The tile and frame are in good vintage condition for their age and use. The Bakelite has yellowed slightly. The frame has general wear and is missing one prong on the back. The tile is intact with general wear. There are no chips or cracks.
The tile and frame together measure 5 inches wide by 6 inches tall. It is .75 inches thick.
