This is the 1948 edition of Busy Beavers Adventures with Numbers math book by Jesse Osborn and Adeline Riefling, published by Webster Publishing Company. It has red covers with an adorable trio of beavers in overalls carrying a log. It is lettered in beige and black. The spine is also lettered in beige and black. The book is illustrated by Christine Chisholm with mostly red and black illustrations but also some full color illustrations. There are 312 pages.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. Brenda's name is very faint on the front cover in the top right corner. The covers also have general wear with some fading and fraying to the corners and edges. This is a former library book so there are library stamps and library card pocket glue residue inside the front and back covers. Someone also drew geometric shapes and grids. There are two names written inside the front cover. One page has the answers filled in, and the index has checkmarks next to some of the entries.
The book measures 8.25 by 6 inches. It is .75 inches thick.
