This Golden Guide is titled Birds and covers familiar American birds. It was written by Herbert S. Zim and Ira N. Gabrielson and illustrated by James Gordon Irving. There are 160 illustrated pages.
The Golden Guide is in excellent condition for its age and use. The cover and spine have general but minimal wear. The covers are still attached at the spine and the spine is still tight. The pages are still bright with minimal yellowing.
The Golden Guide measures 4 inches by 6 inches. It is a quarter of an inch thick.
